PrinkLarge Medium Small
Takeda Science Foundation was founded on Sep. 30th 1963, aiming at making contributions to the development of science and culture worldwide. One of its programs is to provide scholarship to young physicians from mainland China, Chinese Taiwan, Thailand, Philippine, South Korea, Indonesia and other developing countries and regions. Physicians who have passed the entrance examination will be sent to different Japan medical research institutes and/or hospitals to receive senior training in their clinical specialties or research fields.
Since 1981, the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) was authorized to take charge of this scholarship program in China. During past 30 years, nearly 200 young outstanding Chinese physicians and researchers nationwide have been selected and sent to study in Japan. This program provides a good platform for academic communication and exchange for medical professionals from both countries. It not only deepens the Sino-Japan friendship among medical professionals, but also promotes mutual learning and coherent development of medical sciences.
Physicians for the 31st term and 32nd term of scholarship program in China have been chosen after the entrance examination organized by CMA. They will successively go to Japan after language training course organized by CMA in 2012 and 2013.
